What's the perfect time for bacon? Anytime! But if we had to pick, we'd probably say where it all started: breakfast.
Nobody knows that better than Chef Uno. She prepares us a pretty mind-blowing twist on a breakfast staple, Buttery Bacon Breakfast Biscuits!
Buttery Bacon Breakfast Biscuits Ingredients:
1 can Flaky Pillsbury Biscuit Dough
4 each hard boiled egg (cut in half longways)
4 ounces Velveeta cheese
4 strips crispy bacon
Honey Bacon Butter Ingredients:
4 tablespoon softened butter
2 tablespoon rendered bacon fat
2 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoon bacon bits
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
2 teaspoon chopped garlic
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Take one biscuit dough, divide in half horizontally, place one egg in the middle, top with 1/2 ounce of cheese and 1" bacon slices. Top with other half of biscuit and pinch to seal the edges. Repeat with remaining biscuits, lay each biscuit about 2" apart.
In a separate bowl, mix all ingredients of bacon butter together and spread 1/2 tablespoon on each biscuit. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven, allow to cool and drizzle with honey before serving.
