Did you know the Super Bowl is the second largest day for food consumption in the U.S.? Here are some game day food numbers for you to chew on.

According to the National Chicken Council, more than 1.3 billion wings are expected to be devoured during the pig skin showdown.

What are chicken wings without dip? Almost 57% of Americans who eat wings like to dip them in ranch dressing, 35% go for blue cheese.

And according to the National Restaurant Association, this Sunday is the busiest day of the year for pizza. Pizza Hut is getting ready to sell more than 2 million pizzas and Domino's is expecting to sell 12 million slices.

The Big Game is also the 2nd biggest grilling weekend of the year, the first being 4th of July. 14 billion hamburgers will be served up during the big game.

And nothing goes better with football than beer. Some 51.7 million cases of beer are sold every year on the day of the football face-off.

Even if your team wins or loses, if the food is good, everyone wins, right?
