Everybody loves desserts and, especially, chocolate. Chef Uno shows Oliver Tull how to whip up some delicious chocolate mousse, but made with avocado.
Chocolate Avocado Mousse Ingredients:
3 ripe avocados
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to preference)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon sea salt flakes
4 mason jars (4 ounce)
Heat a stock pot with water to create a double broiler. In a stainless steel bowl add the chocolate and coconut milk, place the bowl on top of simmering pot of water and whisk until chocolate is melted and smooth. Cut open the avocado, remove the pit and scoop out the flesh into the food processor, add the melted chocolate, remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Evenly divide mousse into mason jars, seal and chill in refrigerator until ready to eat. When ready to eat, top with your favorite berries and a sprinkling of salt.
