Gliding down a wire from the treetops might not sound like much of a workout, but getting up there definitely is. So we sent Allyn Hoang to Go Ape Zip Line to check it all out.

Before taking to the trees, Tarzan swing, obstacle courses, and zip lines, Site Manager Matt Tarver had to go over a few things with Allyn. Every visitor to Go Ape must go through a training and safety course before hitting the ropes. Once the safety stuff is taken care of you'll find yourself climbing ladders, navigating moving obstacles, and working your way up cargo nets in no time.

After you've worked muscles you didn't even know you had, you're rewarded with a relaxing and trip through the trees on a  zip line.

Allyn went through the course and says she was surprised about how much she worked her body and how rewarding zip lining could be.

The adventures aren't just for the grown ups and big kids. Go Ape also offers a Treetop Adventure Junior for the younger ones. Matt also mentioned that the treetop activities are great for team building, and surprisingly, overcoming a fear of heights.

Go Ape has locations all across the country.  For more info, be sure to check out
