Happiness at Work Hits Highest Level Since 2005

Take a listen around your workplace… You are probably hearing a lot less grumbling.

That’s because nearly half of people in the U.S. say they are satisfied with their jobs.

49 percent might not sound like a lot, but it’s the highest job happiness level since 2005.


According to a new conference board survey, people are also giving their colleagues high praise.

Nearly 60-percent of Americans say the people they work with are great and the actual job they do is interesting.

But it’s not all roses and sunshine.¬†Americans have work complaints too.

At the top of the list is how companies handle promotions.

Also, more than 75 percent said they have problems with their company’s bonus plans and the performance review process.
