Iconic TV Psychic “Miss Cleo” Has Died

The iconic TV psychic “Miss Cleo” has died, according to TMZ.  Her real name was Youree Harris.

A representative for Harris says she died Tuesday morning surrounded by family and friends at a Palm Beach County, Florida hospice center.  TMZ says she was had colon cancer that spread to her liver and lungs.

Los Angeles-born Harris was a staple of late night commercials in the 90’s for Psychic Readers Network. Her Jamaican character “Miss Cleo” urged people at home to “call me now for your free readin’!”

The character was even spoofed on madTV. 

According to her IMDB page, she was also was the voice of Antie Poulet in the video game “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.”
