Happy Birthday Martha Stewart, Ryan Lochte, and Tom Brady: A Look Back At Their Biggest Flops

Today marks the birthdays of Martha Stewart, Ryan Lochte, and Tom Brady. What do they all have in common? (Besides their birthdays of course.) Some pretty big media missteps.

Martha Stewart is 75 years young today and we all know her as the premiere expert on all things home making but back in 2004, she was found guilty for insider trading. According to the New York Times, she received a sentence of five months in prison and five months of home confinement for lying to federal investigators about a stock sale. But the domestic goddess today is doing just fine. She's still at the top for all things domestic and home making but Stewart is also having the time of her life hanging out with Snoop Dogg and Kanye West. She's also the queen of shade on Twitter.

Ryan Lochte turns 32 and we will be seeing more of him in the Olympic games this summer, but back in 2013 he tried his hand at a Kardashian type reality show. Unfortunately it didn't make a very big splash with viewers. According to the Hollywood Reporter, there was a big marketing push for "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" but it premiered to a paltry 807,000 viewership and lost half of it's audience by the show's last episode. However this didn't slow him down one bit. You can catch him competing at the Rio Games this summer sporting a hot new hair color.

Tom Brady turns 39 today and his media blunder is the most recent. DeflateGate 2016 was quite the scandal and according to NESN, he was put on a four week suspension period once NFL season starts up. While this isn't the best thing for Brady's career, it's not the end of it either. He's slated to be back playing in games on October 9th.
