A photo of an outdoor message board is going viral after encouraging thousands of people to be fearless when it comes to sharing their ideas.

The image, which was the top post on Reddit Thursday morning with more than 5,400 upvotes, features a simple, but poignant message.

“Next time you’re afraid to share ideas, remember someone once said in a meeting, ‘Let’s make a film with a tornado full of sharks.'”

There’s no doubt the sign is referring to Syfy‘s “Sharknado” made-for-TV movie franchise, which is currently on its 4th installment. The movie features an ocean waterspout that somehow carries sharks to Los Angeles, subsequently raining terror over the city.

While to the naked eye, the photo appears to be doctored and might not feature the sign’s original wording, the message still holds up: don’t be afraid. And it seems like it’s a message a lot of people need to see. Another inspirational image trending on Reddit Thursday echoed a similar sentiment.

“Don’t be afraid to fail. Be afraid not to try.”
