LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Everybody needs a break from the heat when it’s 83 degrees and sunny!

On Tuesday, a woman named Pallas Buckley was with his family at Pope Beach on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in California when they spotted some very hairy swimmers in the water, according to FOX61.

It turns out, a family of three bears decided to take a dip, right next to a group of kayakers and nearby swimmers! The bears were mere feet off shore, and even walked across the sand at one point in the video.

The video has gotten millions of views across the internet, but it’s important to remember that if you encounter a bear in the wild, don’t get too close. Here are some tips from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to keep you safe.
