Wedding Styles for All Body Types

If you’re one of those special ladies who have a wedding coming up and you don’t have the body of a supermodel like Gigi Hadid (which let’s face it, many of us don’t), fret not! We have some tips to work with that bangin’ body of yours that will make you look amazing on your wedding day.

If you’re a tall and slender kind of woman then a nice beaded bodice with an a-line flare skirt will make you stand out. You can also add a petticoat underneath the to give your dress a little bit of a lift and volume to add curves if you’re a little lacking in that department.

Speaking of curves, if you’re one of those wonderfully curvaceous ladies then look for a mermaid style dress. A chapel length train also helps to accentuate the curves.

Now for our short and petite ladies a non traditional short dress might work best. Many times shorter women have a hard time walking in lengthy dresses and many times have to spend just as much as the dress to get it hemmed. So why not just go with a short dress? Plus with a shorter dress it can really elongate your figure.

What if you’re petite in size but are a little taller than “petite?” Well a sheath cut dress with a layer of tulle will add a flowiness to the gown.

Maybe you’re one of those women who wants to step away from the usual wedding gowns and go non-traditional. Well you can go with a colored ball gown with pockets to make your dress a little more functional. That will really keep your guests on their toes.

Or maybe you want to keep to the white dress but you don’t want it to be all white. Try something with floral print, it’s very in right now and will look lovely on your wedding day.

You can find all these dresses and more at Terry Costa.
