Can you believe the beloved, and now classic, animated film "Beauty and the Beast" hit theaters 25 years ago, way back in 1991?

Way to make us feel old, Disney.

In light of the anniversary, we talked to the film's stars, Robby Benson (Beast) and Paige O'Hara (Belle), about what it's like to look back at the movie a quarter of a century later.

"I knew we were making something really very special," said Benson. "No one knows, you know, in our business if something's really gonna make a lot of money."

Both said they are amazed at the film's longevity.

O'Hara also loves what Belle means to the generations of fans of the film.

"I can't tell you how many children say, 'oh, my gosh, finally a princess who makes me feel like I'm not a geek and looks like me with brown hair and brown eyes,'" O'Hara told us.

To celebrate the anniversary, Disney has released a commemorative Blu-Ray/DVD, which is available now.

And if you just can't get enough, there's a live action remake hitting theaters next year.
