We've all seen a lot of things go down on live TV, but it's not every day you get to watch a reporter ride a roller coaster (with virtual reality) live from the comfort of your couch.

Thanks to the "the magic of television,"  Eye Opener's Kevin Roth got to broadcast live as he experienced a new high-tech, spooky ride called Rage of the Gargoyles Virtual Reality Coaster at Six Flags Over Texas.

Adding virtual reality to a roller coaster gives riders a totally new thrill to experience. You enter a completely different virtual world that also mirrors each move and drop of the physical roller coaster.

"This is a video game, it's a roller coaster, it's a virtual reality experience," said Roth.

The "game" part of the ride involves passengers "shooting" down flying Gargoyles by tapping on the side of their headsets.

Watch the clip above and let us know if you'd ride this coaster!
