With the change in seasons and weather comes a change in wardrobe, but it's also time to change up your beauty routine.

We asked professional makeup artist Briana Dai, of Makeup Artists Unleashed, to share her top makeup colors for fall. Check out her list below!

Best Colors for Fall Makeup

5. Plum

Nothing says "effortlessly chic" like a little concealer, brow, mascara, and a pop of Plum lipstick! If you have a cool skin tone, you can play with the more purple undertones or Eggplant shades. If you're more warm, then you'll want to wear something with a little more red in it, like a red wine shade.

4. Chocolate

This is definitely one of the hottest trends right now! We are seeing chocolate brown lipstick pop up everywhere! If you have a cool skin tone, shop for an espresso brown. If you a have a warm skin tone, look for a warmer chocolate tone.  If chocolate lips are a little too daring for you, a chocolate brown smokey eye is a gorgeous yet understated way to rock this trend, and really pops light colored eyes!

3. Forest Green

For my dark-eyed ladies that are saying "what about how to get MY eyes to pop?," forest green is another hot trend that you need to add to your colors for fall!  A deep green liner or emerald smokey eye is really going to enhance those eyes.

2. Burnt Orange/Pumpkin Spice

Pumpkin spice isn't just a coffee trend, it's taking over the color forecast for fall too! This warm tone makes a stunning cheek color on warm skin tones, copper eye shadows play off of all eye colors brilliantly, and mixing a little chocolate lipstick or gloss with your coral lipstick will transform your lip color to a pumpkin spice inspired shade in an instant.

1. Taupe/Nude

My favorite trend of them all: SKIN IS IN!  Add a shimmery highlighter on the cheekbones and center of your face. Then warm up your complexion with a bronzer on the cheeks and hairline. Sweep a little bronzer on the eyes and finish off with a naturally peachy gloss. The result is simply stunning.
