The "boy brow" is hotter than ever. That's the thicker, more full eyebrow-- a far cry from the pencil thin plucking of the 90's and early 2000's. Experts say microblading can achieve you achieve this new, trendy look almost instantly.
Microblading mimics your natural hair to create a semi-permanent brow that looks totally natural. After a consultation an experienced technician creates little micro-cuts on each brow with a tiny razor. Then they pack those cuts full of pigment.
Cobb says it is important to go somewhere that offers pigment in every skin color so you're sure to get a look that's custom to your face.
The treatment is done in two separate sessions. One month after the first session clients will come back in for a touch up because the pigment will lighten.
Microblading isn't cheap. Cobb says the procedure usually runs around $750.
Also, it can feel uncomfortable. In fact, the woman who got it done for our story above asked for additional numbing in the middle of the procedure.
